A memorandum of agreement that pushes for a more collaborative and inclusive approach to the delivery of public service was signed by the Bataan Multi-Sectoral Advisory Committee (MSAC) on April 25, 2022.
The said activity was led by DILG Bataan PD Myra Moral-Soriano and attended by the provincial directors of various line agencies such as DepEd, DICT, DOLE, DOST, DPWH, DTI and TESDA.
Also present were the heads and representatives of Bataan PPO, Bataan Host Lions Club, NBI, Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (Bataan-Olongapo City-Zambales Chapter) [PIEP BOZ], civil service organizations and local resource institutes comprising the committee.
In her message, PD Soriano expressed her gratitude and excitement with the future collaborations and co-implementations of programs, projects and activities for the benefit of the BataeƱos.
Bataan MSAC provides general direction and guidance to the Bataan Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC) which is an effective network of knowledge and information, as it provides a mechanism to share resources, expertise and best practices to the LGUs.
Under the signed MOA, Bataan MSAC will be the convergence mechanism to harmonize and streamline the efforts signing parties in making positive change in the communities of the province.
