DILG Central Luzon OIC Regional Director Jay E. Timbreza visited DILG Zambales being led by PD Armi Bactad on July 6, 2021. This is part of the DILG Central Luzon's monitoring, and engaging in a regular and active engagement with local government officials and field officers.

 During the said visit, OIC-RD Timbreza was able to impart his gratitude towards the DILG Field Officers of Zambales. Despite the foregoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, they remained steadfast in their duties and responsibilities.

"You are the backbone of the DILG Region III, and you are the reason why we sustain our performance in the region," he stressed.
Furthermore, OIC-RD Timbreza has noted the need to continue their performance and even strive to be the definition of excellence.
"We should go beyond what is excellent, we should continue to scale up what is beyond the definition of performing, and we should strive to be the definition of the standard of excellence," he added.

More to this, OIC RD Timbreza was able to ignite several peace and development discussions and initiatives with Zambales Governor Hermogenes E Ebdane, Jr., given that the latter serves as the current Regional Peace and Order Council Chairperson of Central Luzon.
The visit had served as a platform for OIC Timbreza to discuss the current and future engagements and partnerships of the DILG with League of Municipalities (LMP) President of Zambales Mayor Jun Rundstedt Ebdane and Philippine National Police (PNP) Provincial Director PCol Romano Cardino.
