The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales led by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad successfully showcased the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards Information System (LTIA-IS) portal to DILG Zambales field officers on March 18, 2021 via Zoom online platform.
LTIA is one of the programs of the Department which recognizes the outstanding efforts of the Lupon Tagapamayapa (LT) in terms of performing their mandated duties and responsibilities specifically on resolving cases under the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) or barangay justice system.
Local Government Operations Officers II Stephany A. Panaligan and Paulin Johanne L. Reyes reoriented the field officers on the provisions of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2016-58 or the LTIA enhanced criteria and guidelines, and discussed the guidelines on the CY 2021 LTIA implementation and standard documentation report for LTIA 2021, respectively.
Meanwhile, Information Officer Administrative Aide IV Denver S. Yumul presented the system's features in a walkthrough, as he emphasized the roles and responsibilities of each users. After the discussion, Administrative Assistant II King Andrew Phil A. Apsay guided the field officers on the hands-on exercises to familiarize them further with the system.
In her message, PD Bactad noted that through the LTIA IS, it is expected that the assessment of qualified LTs in each municipality class category will be easier to conduct, since data as well as the modes of verification of the entries will be more accessible at a glance.
LTIA IS— the web-based application that facilitates the encoding, assessment, ranking, and selection of LTIA awardees — is set to be utilized for the assessment of each LT's performance for years 2019 and 2020.
