MORONG, Bataan, February 19 — Braving the hilly topographies and zigzag roads along the way, DILG Bataan LFP Monitoring Team concluded the workweek in the west as they held a consultation meeting with Honorable Mayor Cynthia Estanislao and the local functionaries of the Municipality of Morong.

Cluster Head Melissa Nipal and CDS Chief Johnny Mandocdoc laid out the provincial office's recommendations concerning the LGU's performance in the implementation of FY 2019 Assistance to Municipalities (AM) Program. The attending local officers, on the other hand, did consider the assessment favorably and even pledged a revamp in their strategies.

The forum was followed by a visit to the ongoing construction of a tourism, cultural, and heritage center in Barangay Binaritan—the LGU's P11,433,000-worth project under FY 2020 AM Program. Soon, this multi-purpose building will rise and prove that indeed, there is more to Morong.
