City of Malolos- The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bulacan rehired 380 Contact Tracers in compliance to Republic Act No. 11519, an act extending the Availability of Appropriations under Republic Act No. 11494, also known as the "Bayanihan to Recover as one Act".

All recommended Contact Tracers will continue to augment and help in Local Government Units' (LGUs) contact tracing activities and efforts starting February 3, 2021 until August of the same year.

As of February 23, 2021, the Provincial Health Office of Bulacan reported 12,517 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Province, 11,383 of which were already recovered (91%), 691 cases are still active (5%) and 443 cases of deaths (4%).

The 380 rehired DILG Contact Tracers were all deployed to the 21 municipalities and 3 cities of the Province as well as in the Provincial Government of Bulacan, depending on the LGU's needs and requirements on contact tracing.
