Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija – Provincial Director Renato G. Bernardino graced the blessing and inauguration of Local Access Road in Barangay San Josef Road under F.Y. 2019 Assistance to Municipalities (AM) Program in Brgy. San Josef – Callos Partida, Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

 PD Bernardino together with Hon. Joselito A. Ramos, Municipal Mayor of Peñaranda, Vice Mayor Ofelia S. Manayao and Sangguniang Bayan member led the blessing and inauguration of the project. The activity was also attended by LGU functionaries and barangay officials.

"Ang hangad nating pare-pareho ay ang pagunlad. Maguumpisa ng umunlad ang bayan natin, sana'y magkaisa tayo, para sa ikauunlad ng ating bayan, " Hon. Ramos said during the ceremony.
PD Bernardino encouraged everyone that progress of a community can be achieved through collaborative efforts of the local officials and the community itself. "Kahit gaano man po kalaki ang tatanggapin na pondo na ating ilalaan para sa mga programa at proyekto, hindi po maganda ang ibubunga kung tayo ay hindi magkakasundo-sundo," he added.

Assistance to Municipalities seeks to equitably assist the municipalities in the delivery of basic services by providing financial subsidy to municipalities for the implementation of their projects as part of the General Appropriations Act (GAA) under FY 2020 Local Government Support Fund.
