ANGELES CITY - Pursuant to Dangerous Drugs Board Regulation No. 3, Series of 2017 or Strengthening the Implementation of Barangay Drug Clearing Program, the Regional Oversight Committee through Resolution No. 147-209 series of 2019 has declared Barangay Mining, Angeles City as Drug-Cleared Barangay. Barangay Mining, according to the resolution has satisfactorily complied with all the parameters in declaring a Drug-Cleared Barangay.

The awarding of the Certificate of Drug Cleared Barangay held on September 3, 2019 was initiated by Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. through ACADAC Office headed by Richard Allan Saul. The activity was participated in by the BADAC Council of Mining, PDEA, PNP and DILG.

Barangay Mining is the addition to Angeles City's list of barangays declared Drug-Cleared in 2018 namely Barangay Virgen Delos Remedios and Sto. Rosario.
