The Municipality of Castillejos' Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Cluster convened to ensure a smooth transition to the "New Normal". On June 24, 2020 the meeting was presided by the POPS Cluster Chairperson, Hon. Eleanor D. Dominguez held at the Rooftop of the Municipal Building.
The fight against coronavirus isn't over yet. It is far from over as cases worldwide and even in our country is still increasing. And as long as antivirals and vaccine are yet to discover, it would be difficult to go back to our normal lives. With this, we are urge to face and embrace the new normal to go on with our lives. And, Novo Ecijanos are ready for this new normal life after lockdown.

As part of the continual improvement of the Strategic Performance Management Review of the Department in relation to the submission of the 1st Semester 2020 Office/Division/Individual Performance Commitment and Review (O/D/IPCR) rating, the DILG Aurora Planning Unit convened on June 25, 2020, 10:00 AM via Google Meet, a Cloud-Based Video Conferencing Platform, to prepare the said documents.

Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) orientation was conducted by DILG Casiguran through its MLGOO Jesus L. Vizconde, Jr. on June 24, 2020 for the Lupong Tagapamayapa members of Barangay 4 of this municipality.
One of the mandates of the Barangays as stated in the Local Government Code of 1991 and Presidential Decree No. 1501 is the handling of disputes covered by KP.

On June 25, 2020, LGU Casiguran passed a resolution through its Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) and Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC) in support to a strengthened Anti-Terror Bill with emphasis on its proper enforcement observing and respecting basic human rights and democratic institutions.
