The Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force (MIATF), together with the Punong Barangays and Barangay Secretaries, convened on June 18, 2020 to discuss the guidelines on Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) as the Province of Zambales' shift to MGCQ took effect.

Local Civil Registrar and Secretary of the Municipal Mayor Manolito C. Donatos presented the provisions in Executive Order No. 19, series of 2020 and Executive Order No. 19-A, series of 2020 issued by Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. Subsequently, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative Jayson M. Tenerife enumerated the establishments and activities under Categories I to IV that are allowed in MGCQ. He emphasized that resorts may operate, provided that such have secured certificate of authority from the Department of Tourism.

Municipal Engineer Mary Susan Mae P. Torres reiterated the Department of Public Works and Highways' Order No. 39, series of 2020. She reminded that construction safety guidelines shall still be complied with in all construction projects even under the new phase of the community quarantine.

During the meeting, issues and concerns on religious gatherings, opening of videoke bars, operation of resorts, and small-scale constructions were raised. OIC-MLGOO Nedricks P. Canlas provided clarifications on such and gave his recommendations to the body. As the DILG Officer of Cabangan, he made sure that the MIATF's resolutions were aligned with the national guidelines.
