PAMPANGA - A two-day training on the formulation of the local youth development plans initiated by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Provincial Federation, in cooperation with the DILG and Liga ng mga Barangay, was conducted on Oct 12-13 and Oct 19-20.

The role of a Punong Barangay was given light in this event, and was proven by Hon. Marvin Dela Cruz, Punong Barangay of Mulawin, Orani, Bataan in his first State of the Barangay Address in the recently-concluded Barangay Assembly held October 21, 2018 as Barangay Mulawin was chosen as DILG's Provincial Showcase Barangay for the 2nd semester of 2018.

A Knowledge Management Audit and Assessment have been conducted by the Local Government Academy in DILG R3 on October 15-16, 2018 for the upcoming CapDev Ace Gabi ng Parangal 2018.

In aiming to eradicate bureaucratic red tape and improve Local Government Unit's processes in securing constructional permits and certificates, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III steered the Training-Workshop on Streamlining Building Permit and Certificate of Occupancy in three (3) batches on October 1-3, October 10-12 and October 15-17, 2018 at Subic Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 3 facilitated a Forum on Existing and Proposed Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center cum Negotiation with Target LGUs in coordination with the DATRC Task Force last October 16 – 17, 2018 at Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, SBFZ.
