With the support of Mayor Doris Maniquiz-Jeresano the 2nd quarter meeting of the Local Poverty Reduction Action Team (LPRAT) of Botolan, Zambales was conducted on April 22, 2015 at the Sanggunian Bayan Session Hall. LPRAT Co-Chairperson Elsa Novo of Samahang Katutubong Poonbato presided over the three (3) hour meeting, aimed at ensuring that all members are informed and are participating in fast-tracking the access of Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) 2015 projects from the different national government agencies (NGAs).

   To be updated on the current project status and requirements of the Bottom Up Budgeting (BuB) under the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Field Officers and Community Mobilizers (CMs), thru the directive of Regional Director Florida M. Dijan and Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, attended the Provincial Briefing at Bahay Bakasyunan Resort last April 8, 2015.

The Provincial Peace and Order Council of Zambales chaired by no less than Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., Governor in its continuing efforts to intensify interventions for the province-wide campaign against criminality and insurgency has conducted the 1st Meeting for CY 2015 last March 24, 2015 at the Balin Sambali (Zambales Hotel), Iba, Zambales. The event was made possible thru the effort of the DILG, led by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V, PPOC Head Secretariat in close coordination with the Provincial Government of Zambales.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales, headed by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, supports the launching of the Provincial Convergence Action Planning of Operation “Listo” conducted by DILG Region III. OIC-Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Lee Allen B. Pineda in coordination with Municipal Agriculture Officer (MAO) Diomedes E. Lucero conducted an inspection-visit last March 18, 2015 of the 1-unit four wheel drive tractor amounting to Php 1,300,000.00 procured by the Municipality of San Marcelino, Zambales through the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF).
