Botolan, Zambales. Another milestone of triumphs in the Indigenous Peoples’ (IPs) battle for equality in the municipality of Botolan was the assumption to office of Ms. Ladie M. De Leon as the new Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) in the municipality.
In order to synchronize the efforts of different stakeholders in maintaining peace and order situation in the province of Zambales, the Provincial Government of Zambales led by Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. in coordination with the DILG Zambales headed by PD Armi V. Bactad, held the 4th Quarter Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) - Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) Meeting on November 26, 2019 at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales.

With the goal of raising public awareness and secure substantial public support on the need to change the present 1987 Constitution, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Aurora launched the Constitutional Reform (CoRe) Provincial Roadshow in the Province of Aurora in a series of activities from November 26 to 28, 2019 with the bulk of participant attending the Balangayan in the Sentro Baler and the Casiguran Agricula.
