A young crowd of student leaders from Mabalacat City College (MCC) welcomed DILG Pampanga today as the Department continues with its advocacy efforts under the Constitutional Reform (CoRe) banner through the #CoReYouthTalk on November 27, 2019
Around 60 student leaders from the different institutes and college organizations gathered at the Cultural Hall of the school to listen and participate in the discourse on the proposed amendments to the Constitution being pushed by the current administration.
In her message, PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to interface with the student leaders who can be the Department's advocacy partners in disseminating information about the efforts of the government in creating a better country. She also noted that it's high time to update and change some provisions in the Constitution to make it more relevant to the needs of the new generation.
Meanwhile, activities such as video-making and poster-making contests with the theme "Bagong Konstitusyon para sa Bagong Henerasyon," were also prepared by the Department to increase audience engagement and showcase the students' creative take on the subject matter.
The #CoReYouthTalk is one of the advocacy efforts of the Department which aims to convey the message of the program that is relatable and will resonate with the younger generation
