In line with the Department of the Interior and Local Government's program to significantly ramp-up contact tracing in the country, the DILG-Olongapo City conducted the screening of the batch 2 of qualified applicants for the contact tracer positions in the city on October 7, 2020.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales headed by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad commenced on the general orientation of 105 qualified contact tracers (CTs) on October 3, 2020 via zoom video conferencing application.

Addressing the need to FIND, ISOLATE AND CURE all possible COVID-19 positive in the City, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Angeles City Office team, headed by City Director Martin Porres B. Moral, oriented the 66 newly-hired contact tracers on October 2, 2020 at the Conference Hall, Barangay Hall, Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.

A total of 492 contact tracers for the 1st batch were hired by the Department, in the Province of Bulacan.

To assist the barangays in undertaking preparedness measures and appropriate actions for the rainy season during the COVID-19 pandemic, the DILG-Olongapo City provided orientation on L!STO sa Tag-Ulan at COVID-19 on October 1, 2020 via Google Meet.
