SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 III is set to conduct series of rollout activities in line with Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Formulation.
In preparation for said undertaking, an orientation on the upcoming activities for the provision of technical assistance on the formulation of CDPs was conducted on September 30, 2020 via Zoom Meetings Application. It was participated in by selected LGUs particularly those that have no or outdated CDPs along with the respective Regional and Provincial CDP Focal Persons.
In his opening message, LG-CDD Assistant Chief Lee Allen B. Pineda highlighted the general objective of this initiative, which is to provide assistance to LGUs in facilitating the formulation of their CDPs. To be specific, it will involve the participation of target LGUs to series of virtual workshops and online sessions.
Among the topics discussed are the timeline of upcoming CDP activities, Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment, and the New CDP Review and Assessment Tool.
Although movements may be limited for the time being, DILG Region 3 is committed to meet all its goals and objectives while taking safety precautions at the same time.
