WHERE GOVERNANCE MEANS CARE: PAOMBONG PRIORITIZES HEALTH SERVICES THROUGH SGLGIF PROJECT
Earlier today, Mayor Ian Mark P. Marcos led the inauguration of the project “Procurement of Medical Equipment (Ultrasound Machine)” funded under FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), a grant awarded to LGUs that have successfully passed the SGLG assessment.
Joining the ceremony were Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose, CESO III, Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V, LGOO VII Lydia M. Baltazar, LGOO VI Marilyn Ochoa, Sangguniang Bayan and Barangay members, and LGU functionaries.
Paombong’s recognition as a Top 4 LGU nationwide in the implementation of SGLGIF projects highlights its exceptional dedication to good governance and innovative public service. As a first-time SGLG passer, this milestone further underscores the municipality’s commitment to raising the standard of public service and ensuring that development programs directly benefit the community.
The successful completion of the project marks a significant step in strengthening Paombong’s healthcare system and affirms its resolve to deliver accessible, quality, and citizen-centered services.
