Amidst the incessant surge of pandemic hampering normal work functions, DILG Bataan continues to provide technical assistance on the Community-Based Monitoring System Accelerated Poverty Profiling (CBMS-APP) Module II Virtual Training for the Municipality of Abucay on April 26-28, 2021 via Google Meet platform.
Module II, as an important segment of the CBMS implementation, was attended by LGU personnel from the offices of Municipal Information System (MIS) and Municipal Planning and Development Council (MPDC) to process the data that are needed to commence their Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP).
In addition, Module II provides the LGU with knowledge and skills on CBMS Module II components particularly data processing, CBMS database building, and poverty mapping using Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS).
LGU-Abucay participants took part in the hands-on activities and information sharing as part of the said training.
The 3-day virtual training on Module II was facilitated by LGOO V Johnny Mandocdoc, CDS Chief and CBMS focal person, and covered the following topics:

☑️ Installation of the StatSimProcessor (StatSim Pro);
☑️ Importing of Data
☑️ Processing/Updating of Data collected in Module I
☑️ Exporting of Data for map digitizing and poverty maps generation using Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS
☑️ Database creation
☑️ Executing MySQL statements for the Database Buildup and other Customized Data
