The LTIA Provincial Awards Committee (PAC) convened yesterday, April 18, 2023, at the DILG Bataan Provincial Office to assess the provincial nominees for the annual search for the Most Outstanding Lupons in Bataan under the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) of the DILG.
The PAC headed and chaired by DILG Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, with heads and representatives from Regional Trial Court, PNP, Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) provincial chapter and National Council of Chaplains Philippines Inc., as the NGO representative, assessed the nominees submitted by the municipal awards committee.
Brgy. Alangan, Limay emerged as the provincial winner for the 1st to 3rd class municipality category while Brgy. San Ramon, Dinalupihan placed runner-up. Notably, Alangan is the 2nd runner-up on last year's LTIA, aiming to be the national winner for the said category.
Meanwhile, Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Samal being the sole contender in the 4th to 6th class municipality category, was adjudged as the winner in the said category.
Alangan and Sta. Lucia will represent Bataan and will be subjected to the Regional Assessment Committee (RAC) along with other winners from the provinces in the region.
LTIA was established to grant economic and other incentives to lupons for their outstanding contributions to attain the objectives of the Katarungang Pambarangay.
