The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 had conducted a three-day Training of Trainers on the Implementation of the Anti-Red Tape Act- Report Card Survey (ARTA-RCS) at Maharajah Hotel, Angeles City.  The training was aimed to capacitate DILG Provincial and City teams to ensure the effective administration and encoding of the report card survey instruments at all local government units in their respective area of jurisdiction.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government in Region 3 has released from October 2011 to April 2012, a total amount of Php 828,000 for the beneficiaries of the 64 deceased barangay officials in Central Luzon who died during their incumbency.

Of the 84 deceased barangay officials, there were 6 Punong Barangays, 48 Sangguniang Barangay Members, 3 Barangay Treasurers and 7 Barangay Secretaries.  Families of Punong Barangays received a total of P132,000 while relatives of the other barangay officials received P696,000.

   The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3, under the stewardship of     RD Florida M. Dijan, was awarded with a Special Recognition plaque by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).  Signed by the President of the PCCI, Atty. Miguel B. Varela, the award was in recognition of DILG R3’s significant support to the Central Luzon’s Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS) program. 

  

The Department of the Interior and Local Government R-3 (DILG) in partnership with the Department of the Trade and Industry R-3 and Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Incorporated (CLGCFI) hosted the 6th Recognition of Outstanding LGUs Implementing the Streamlining Program in the Issuance of Mayor’s Permit in Central Luzon on April 25, 2012 at Fontana Leisure Park Convention Center, Clarkfield Pampanga.

   A total of thirty-four (34) Local Government Operations Officers II have participated in the weeklong General Orientation of the 47th Batch LGOO Induction Training.  Said activity is the Component I of the Induction Training Program for both newly-hired and incumbent LGOOs II of Region III who are yet to participate in any induction trainings of the Department.
