Sa bawat patak ng ulan, ang dating putikang daan ay nagiging balakid sa mga magsasakang nais magdala ng ani, sa mga mag-aaral na kailangang pumasok sa paaralan, at sa mga nanay na pumupunta sa bayan para mamalengke. Ngunit noong Mayo 2024, nagbago ang takbo ng kwento ng barangay na ito. Tumindig sa gitna ng dating maputik na tanawin ang konkretong kalsada ng Sitio Bani-Cataning Road—isang proyektong hindi lamang nagpabago sa pisikal na anyo ng lugar kundi naghatid din ng bagong pag-asa at progreso para sa bawat residente.

 

The first Provincial Team Conference (PTC) of the year for DILG Bataan was more than just a routine meeting—it became a heartfelt send-off for LGOO VI Allan Don Malonzo, who is set to assume his new role as City Local Government Operations Officer (CLGOO) of San Fernando, Pampanga after years of dedicated service in Bataan.

 

Orion, Bataan – January 31, 2025 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bataan successfully held the B.R.I.G.H.T. Bataan: Bridging Reports and Innovations for Greater Harmony Together, a vital capacity development activity aimed at enhancing the competencies of LGU-hired personnel. The event took place at the MDRRM Hall, Conference Room in Orion, Bataan, drawing dedicated staff from various DILG Field Offices.

 

On January 30, 2025, DILG Bataan personnel, led by Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, visited Governor Hon. Jose Enrique "Joet" S. Garcia III at The Bunker, Capitol Compound, Balanga City, Bataan.

 

We are both thrilled and proud to announce that all 12 Local Government Units (LGUs) in Bataan have successfully passed the 2024 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) and have achieved the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG)! This remarkable achievement marks a historic milestone as it is the first time ever that every LGU in our province has aced this important audit.

 

The Provincial Government of Bataan successfully conducted the 1st Quarter 2025 Joint Meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) on January 22, 2025, at The Bunker, Balanga City, Bataan. Members of these councils, along with local officials, law enforcement agencies, and stakeholders, were present to address key issues and strengthen initiatives for peace, order, and security in the province.
