On April 25, 2025, the DILG Aurora Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT) and the LGU Inspectorate Team conducted a follow-up inspection of the 461-meter Farm-to-Market Road project in Barangay Cozo, Casiguran. This monthly evaluation ensures the project's adherence to national standards, timely completion, and quality execution. The initiative underscores the DILG's commitment to supporting rural infrastructure development and enhancing local economic opportunities.
The inspection team from DILG Aurora, composed of Engr. III Rosanna C. Hernandez, Engr. II Kenny Jean N. Iniwan, and Municipal Engineering Office representatives Engr. Menandro M. Lapada and Engr. Jomel Arcos, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the ongoing project. Despite prior notices issued by the implementing unit, the project has experienced a negative slippage exceeding 15%. The team reminded the LGU implementing unit of the contractor's prior commitment to address the delays; failure to do so may result in the imposition of liquidated damages upon the expiration of the contract

Following the site validation, an exit conference was held with the LGU inspectorate team to discuss inspection findings, address identified issues, and agree on corrective actions. This collaborative session emphasized the importance of adhering to project specifications and timelines to ensure successful completion.
