With the storms that are currently sweeping over the country, the Municipal Government of Dipaculao’s Multi-Purpose Building (Evacuation Center will serve as an evacuation center and temporary shelter for people who may be exposed to hazards in the area.
To ensure that the facility is constructed according to its designed specifications and can better address the specific needs of the community for increased resilience, the DILG Aurora PPMT conducted a final site inspection on August 8, 2024 for the construction of the structure. Those present during the inspection included the Dipaculao Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Engineering Office, MLGOO Hannah Marie A. Dizon, Engr. Rosanna C. Hernandez and Engr. Kenny Jean N. Iniwan. An exit conference was held in Borlongan's Barangay Hall following the field validation to discuss findings and recommendations for further improvement before being turned over and accepted by its end users.
Through an interview with the direct beneficiaries conducted by the PPMT, the impacts of the completed project have been documented. MPDC Mark Cañasa remarked on behalf of the LGU, stating that the project had been identified as a priority and expressing gratitude for its completion. In addition, he outlined possible strategies for ensuring its sustainability and suggested improvements.
