BALER, AURORA. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aurora launched the “DisiplinaMuna National Advocacy” campaign — which aims to instil a “culture of discipline” among Filipinos, on its conduct of the Constitutional Reform Roadshows (Media Briefing and Town Hall Meeting, CORE Talk and Balangayan Events), November 26-28, 2019.

WE ARE THE CORE! WE STAND AS ONE! Punong Barangays, along with the barangay-based CSOs, media personalities, NGAs, uniformed personnel (PNP, AFP, BFP, PCG), Sangguniang Kabataan, representatives from the different sectors and other stakeholders during the kick-off  of the Balangayan Provincial Roadshow Cluster 1 for the Municipalities of Baler, Maria Aurora, San Luis, Dipaculao and Dingalan at the Sentro Baler, November 27, 2019.

With the goal of raising public awareness and secure substantial public support on the need to change the present 1987 Constitution, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Aurora launched the Constitutional Reform (CoRe) Provincial Roadshow in the Province of Aurora in a series of activities from November 26 to 28, 2019 with the bulk of participant attending the Balangayan in the Sentro Baler and the Casiguran Agricula.

DILG AURORA CONDUCTS TRAINING ON QA/QC

Engineers from the Provincial Government of Aurora during the closing program of the Training on Quality Assurance / Quality Control for Infrastructure Projects, November 8, 2019.

ANGELES CITY - On November 6-8, 2019, DILG Aurora administered a three (3)-day Training on Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) for Infrastructure Projects held at Hotel Euroasia, Angeles City, Pampanga. The said training is one of capacity development interventions of the Provincial Government of Aurora (PGA) which is indicated in their FY 2019 Annual Reform Action Plan (ARAP).

The activity primarily intends to enhance the capacity of the technical personnel from the Provincial Engineering Office of the PGA regarding the principles, concepts and procedures on Materials Minimum Testing Requirements for Items of Works for road projects. Likewise, it aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the said personnel on the QA/QC Procedures.

A total of 25 participants from the Provincial Government of Aurora and DILG Aurora headed by Provincial Director, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., CESO V attended the training. Engr. Ariel T. Jaceldone, Materials Engineeer II from the Department of Public Works and Highways- Regional Office III, served as the Resource Speaker.
