A retooling activity via Zoom was spearheaded earlier today, February 20, 2023, by the LTIA Provincial Team of DILG Pampanga attended by the Lupons from the 505 barangays of the province to apprise them of the enhanced criteria for this year’s assessment as well as the documentation requirements for each indicator.

In her message, PD Myra B. Moral-Soriano, stressed the importance of proper and systematic documentation of records in the overall functionality of Lupons. She also urged them to continually improve their capabilities in resolving disputes in the community and to come up with innovations on how to manage conflicts so as to maintain peace and order in the barangay.
She also added that LTIA is one of the programs that help LGUs solidify Seal of Good Local Governance.
“Gusto po natin ang ating mga barangay ay maging katuwang natin din sa pagkakaroon ng mahusay, matino, at maasahang pamamahala at serbisyo publiko.”

The discussion of the enhanced guidelines was led by Program Manager Mark Kevin Salonga and LGOO V Candy Veneracion. An open forum was held afterwards to address queries and provide clarifications.

With the series of capdev interventions provided by DILG Pampanga, PD Soriano hopes to produce more national Lupon nominees this year.

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) recognizes outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa that adequately demonstrate the ability to judiciously and expeditiously resolve cases referred to them and demonstrates exemplary performance and commendable contributions in the promotion of Katarungang Pambarangay (KP).

The Provincial SGLG Team held its last exit conference in the City of San Fernando on Friday, February 17, with City Mayor Vilma Caluag and department heads in which the team apprised the city government of their performance in the recent 2022 national assessment.

The DILG Pampanga personnel together with DILG LGU staff and functionaries of target LGRC Barangays were capacitated on program advocacy campaign on January 30, 2023 through a zoom meeting.

The activity entitled, Communications Revitalized through Enhanced Abilities and Transformed Expertise (CREATE), was conducted in order to strengthen the knowledge sharing effort of the Department. In her message, DILG Pampanga Provincial Director Myra B. Moral-Soriano, CESO V acknowledged that behind every successful information and education campaigns are the people with the right set of skills and talents thus it is vital that there is transfer of knowledge and proper training of personnel in order to produce great information materials.

Participants were given tips on how to write a news and feature article, how to use Canva and edit an image or a video. Additionally, the DILG Pampanga personnel were also trained how to use a drone camera in order to properly document the LGU projects funded by the Department.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Ing Kulitan team conducted a Knowledge Management (KM) Orientation and KM Audit for City, Municipal, and Barangay Local Governance Resource Centers (LGRCs) on February 3, 2023 at the Conference Hall, DILG Pampanga Provincial Office, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

As partners in local governance, the DILG Pampanga recognizes the important role of the LGUs in promoting the services of the government. Hence, pilot LGUs were trained on how to assess their KM processes. Their current strengths, assets, weaknesses, and barriers in KM were identified in order to formulate strategies and plans for the improvement of their LGRCs.

The activity was participated by selected City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officers, DILG staff, Barangay Secretaries, and SK Chairpersons of the pilot LGUs.
