A Photo Story telling contest was initiated by the DILG Pampanga in support of the celebration of 2024 National Women’s Month. The theme of the contest was “Illustration of a Strong, Independent Woman” in which there were 9 participants. Among these 9, the following submission accumulated the highest votes.

On March 11, 2024, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pampanga participated in the kick-off ceremony initiated by the Provincial Government to celebrate National Women's Month. With the theme "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayanan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan", the day promised to be a showcase of commitment and meaningful initiatives aimed at recognizing and valuing the capabilities of women.

The celebration of Women's Month in Pampanga was more than just a fun run and zumba dance exercise; a line-up of month-long activities was bared encapsulating the unwavering dedication to create a society that is more inclusive for all.

 

The Provincial Inter-agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) convened on February 13, 2024 via Zoom Meetings Application to discuss the conduct of functionality assessment for the Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPCs) across all cities and municipalities in the Province of Pampanga.

The meeting served as a platform to formulate a well-defined timeline outlining the sequence of activities to be undertaken throughout the assessment period.

Accordingly, the DILG Pampanga conducted the Orientation on the Guidelines of LCPC Functionality Assessment on February 14, 2024 via the Zoom Meetings Application. The guidelines and the technical notes containing all the documentary requirements needed as means of verification were presented in detail during the activity.

The LCPC Functionality Assessment aims to contribute significantly to the enhancement of child protection measures in the Province of Pampanga.

 

During its first quarter meeting, the Pampanga Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) ratified the Joint Resolution No. 2024-01.
