At least 2,500 residents are expected to benefit from the Ambulance project and Assistance to Indigent Families through the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) projects. Said projects amounting to Php 10,000,000.00 in total, were inspected and validated by DILG Bulacan LFP Team, on April 5, 2024, in Municipality of Bocaue, to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to implementation guidelines.

 

The DILG Bulacan LFP Team inspected ongoing construction of Health Station in Barangay Binuangan and Level III Potable Water Supply System in Barangay Salambao, Obando, Bulacan funded under the F.Y. 2023 Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) with a total allocation of Php 6,606,882.17 per project on April 3, 2024.

Before, they struggled with murky well water containing sand, causing inconvenience and health issues. But now, with the new water system and healthcare services reaching around 100 households in Salambao and 6,739 people in Binuangan, these initiatives have not only solved immediate problems but also laid the foundation for lasting progress in the community.

 

The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (PIMT) of Bulacan convened on April 1, 2024 for the final table validation of the LCPC and LCAT-VAWC Functionality Assessment of 24 LGUs in Bulacan at PSWDO Field Operations Center, Ground Floor, Capitol Building, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

During the session, the team finalized the assessment scores of all 24 LGUs and engaged in fruitful discussions regarding the encountered issues and concerns during the on-site assessment. They also formulated a series of recommendations aimed at aiding LGUs in enhancing their performance in maintaining child-friendly, trafficking-free, and violence-free communities.

The PIMT, composed of representatives from various key agencies such as DILG Bulacan, PSWDO, ACCCPI, PNP Bulacan PPO, PHO Bulacan, PDO/DEPED Bulacan, OPP Bulacan, and PPDO, gathered for this significant endeavor.
