DILG Bulacan convenes for leveling of understanding on Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) and reviews CY 2024’s targets and accomplishments, today, January 3, 2025 in City of Malolos, Bulacan.
As the year comes to a close, DILG Bulacan conducted the most stylish and exciting year-end activity with the theme, “Denim Dreams and ALAB Achievement: Celebrating Success in Iconic Style” on December 18, 2024.
The Provincial Government of Bulacan including 8 Local Government Units (LGUs) in the province received their awards during the 2024 Gawad Timpukan Awarding of DILG Region 3 with the theme, “Recognizing Change Makers, Empowering Trailblazers”. The awards given were related to the Department's programs, such as Kwarto ni Neneng Project, SubayBAYANI, Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), and Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
Governor Daniel Fernando, together with the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) led the Ceremonial Signing of the declaration of the State of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SSIPS) of the Province today, December 20, 2024.
The said declaration is in pursuant to PPOC Resolution No. 5, S. of 2023 and Resolution No. 057-S’2024 of Sangguniang Panlalawigan, which means that the Province of Bulacan is generally unaffected of communist insurgency and has attained the mechanisms of internal security.
As the activity concluded, the council reaffirmed that the province remains committed in maintaining peace and order through strengthening its military and law enforcement functions in order to ensure that all Bulakenyos live in safe and peaceful communities.
December 13, 2024 – The Municipality of Bulakan, under the leadership of Mayor Vergel C. Meneses, launched a significant waste management initiative under the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF). The project, which includes the “Purchase of one(1) unit Garbage Truck” amounting to Php 1,800,000.00, aims to enhance the efficiency of waste collection and disposal services, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for the community.
