Held in the charming scenery of Morong, Bataan on May 2-3, 2024, the DILG Bulacan, through its “Lakas” facility of ALAGWA Sub-LGRRC, facilitated its Mid-Year Strategic Planning Cum Mental Health Wellness Awareness Activity.
ADA IV Princess Camille G. Santos, a licensed psychometrician, conducted a session entitled, “Be Mindful”, showing the importance of mindfulness in our mental well-being. She showed how it reduces stress, and gave practical tips in applying it to our daily routine.

In her message, PD Myrvi Fabia emphasized that the activity is an opportunity to strengthen team dynamics and mental being while enjoying for a short breather amidst the busy schedule.
As part of the strategic planning of the department, everyone is reminded to balance their schedules, while practicing open communication among colleagues. PD Fabia underscored the significance of each employee’s duties and responsibilities in the delivery of the department’s mandates.

This successful event highlighted DILG Bulacan’s commitment to promote and take care of the mental health of its employees. While driven to perform the duties and mandate to ensure the delivery of services to the public, the department is also mindful that a balanced and healthy lifestyle of its employees plays a crucial role in the success in achieving the targets as a government agency.

 

April 29, 2024, Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando led the briefing of the Province-wide Flood Control and River Restoration Program and signing of MOA for Inter LGU Integration to the Province-wide Health System.

Present in the activity are the Congressmen, City/ Municipal Mayors, City/Municipal Vice Mayors, Vice Governor and Members of Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Presidents of Liga ng mga Barangay, Department Heads of the Provincial Government and representatives from National Government Agencies.

 

DILG Bulacan joined forces with the DOH, DEPED, and various government agencies for the launching of the Human Papillomavirus Immunization Program Kickoff: Bulacan SHIELD against Cervical Cancer today, April 29, 2024.

The launching aims to inform the public and raise awareness about the importance of HPV vaccination in preventing Cervical Cancer, which can be transmitted through sexual contact. Additionally, it seeks to underscore the dedication of various agencies in fulfilling the goal of educating and safeguarding the health of adolescents, particularly young women aged 9 to 14 years old.
