DECEMBER 14, 2023: Fourteen (14) local government units (LGUs) in the Province of Bulacan were conferred with the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Award, to wit:

The SGLG is an award, incentive, honor, and recognition-based program for all LGUs who have achieved excellence in local governance. It also serves as a commitment for LGUs to continually progress and improve their performance in all areas of local governance.

December 21, 2023: DILG Bulacan celebrates the year-end with the theme, “Imagine. Create. Celebrate: Keeping the Inner Child Alive.”
The activity transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary as all DILG Bulacan personnel donned the attire of their favorite fictional and Disney characters, enabling them to keep their inner child alive.
During the activity, the DILG Bulacan Alab Awards 2023 were also launched, wherein all outstanding personnel were recognized and awarded for their invaluable support and dedication as public servants.
In her message, PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V, appreciated personnel for their unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication, which allowed the office to increase its overall performance for the year 2023.
She also placed emphasis on transforming imagination into reality, as this concept becomes the fundamental drive for progress, innovation, and positive change in the office.
DECEMBER 19, 2023: DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V, was hailed as the 2023 Dangal ng Kagawaran Regional Awardee during the 2023 Gawad Timpukan Awarding of DILG Central Luzon.
This award serves as a testament of her exceptional leadership in leading DILG Bulacan towards excellence.
In addition, LGOO VI Benedict Pangan, City Local Government Operations Officer (CLGOO) of the City of San Jose Del Monte, was nominated under the Singsing ng Tanikala Category and ADAS II Julie Galicia under the Dagitab and Paglilingkod Category.
Likewise, LGOO VI Myrna P. Reyes, CLGOO of Baliwag City was also recognized for being the Regional Nominee for the Singsing ng Tanikala of the National CapDev Ace and Best Implementer of Locally Funded Project (LFP) in Bulacan. Engr. Kevin De Guia was also awarded as the best Focal Person of the LFP in the whole of Central Luzon.

DECEMBER 20, 2023: Thirteen (13) local government units in the Province of Bulacan were recognized during the conduct of the 2023 Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) Regional Awarding at the ASEAN Convention Center, Fontana Resort, Clark, Pampanga.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) awards the Gawad KALASAG Seal to LGUs who adhere to the standards for the establishment and functionality of the LDRRMCs and LDRRMOs as mandated under Republic Act No. 10121, also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010.
