Earlier today, the City Government of Meycauayan inaugurated a new garbage collection vehicle, funded under the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), amounting to PHP 2,300,000.00.
City Mayor Hon. Atty. Henry R. Villarica and Vice Mayor Josefina O. Violago led the inauguration ceremony, with the participation of DILG Central Luzon Assistant Regional Director Jay E. Timbreza, CESO V, OIC-Cluster Head LGOO VI Dante C. Boac, LGOO VI Myrna P. Reyes, City Councilors, Department Heads, and LGU functionaries.
The Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund is a program initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to incentivize local government units that demonstrate excellence in governance. It aims to support initiatives that promote transparency, accountability, and community welfare.
