Eighteen (18) LGUs including the Provincial Government of Bulacan received the most prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) today, December 10, 2024 at the Manila Hotel. The SGLG, which honors LGUs for their excellence in public governance, recognizes those who demonstrate transparency, accountability, service delivery, and innovation was conferred to the following LGUs for this year’s awarding:

 


1, Provincial Government of Bulacan
2. City of Baliwag
3. City of Malolos
4. City of Meycauayan
5. City of San Jose Del Monte
6. Municipality of Angat
7. Municipality of Balagtas
8. Municipality of Bulakan
9. Municipality of Bustos
10. Municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad
11. Municipality of Guiguinto
12. Municipality of Marilao
13. Municipality of Pandi
14. Municipality of Paombong
15. Municipality of Plaridel
16. Municipality of Pulilan
17. Municipality of San Ildefonso
18. Municipality of Santa Maria


Notably, the Provincial Government of Bulacan and the Municipality of Plaridel marked their 8 consecutive years of being an SGLG Awardee. Whilst from 14 SGLG Passers in 2023, the province soars higher to 18 SGLG Passers this year adding the Municipality of Bustos, Paombong, San Ildefonso and City of Malolos to the list.
The said awarding ceremony was led by Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Juanito Victor C. Remulla, together with the Directors of the Department and attended by the Local Chief Executives (LCEs) who were recipients of the highly-coveted seal.
