December 4, 2024— The DILG Bulacan launched the Provincial Rollout of the 2025 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), aiming to strengthen LGUs’ commitment in protecting children's rights and welfare. This activity provided guidance to LGUs in preparing the necessary documentary requirements and aligning efforts with the latest guidelines and performance indicators for the upcoming audit.

During the orientation, DILG Bulacan underscored that the CFLGA is not just merely an audit exercise but a vital tool for driving continuous improvement in governance and service delivery for children. It was further emphasized that while passing the audit is a key milestone, the overarching goal is to inspire LGUs to deepen their dedication in ensuring children's safety, development, and well-being.
Present in the activity were the members of Inter-Agency Monitoring Taskforce, MHOs, MSWDOs, CSO representatives and other officers from the LGUs.

The CFLGA is an annual mandatory audit designed to assess the performance of the LGUs in the implementation of programs and measures in ensuring the protection and well-being of children in the society.
