MALOLOS CITY – The DILG Bulacan joined the 2022 Unity Walk and Signing of Peace Covenant for Safe, Accurate, Free, and Fair Elections (S.A.F.E.) led by the Bulacan Philippine National Police in close coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on March 24, 2022, a day before the start of the campaign period for local positions.
Candidates of various local positions and their supporters were gathered in the KB Gymnasium, Malolos City, Bulacan.
In his message, PD Darwin David emphasized that people in Bulacan are peace-loving. “Sa tatlong elections na nasaksihan ko rito sa Bulacan lahat po ay matagumpay na naisagawa nang payapa”, he said.
The peace covenant was signed by the candidates and election stakeholders to ensure peaceful polls on May 9, 2022.
