MALOLOS CITY, BULACAN – The Provincial Government of Bulacan including ten (10) other LGUs in the Province were validated by validators from DILG Region 7 during the National Validation for Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) on August 19-23, 2019.

 

MALOLOS CITY, BULACAN – The Department with the participation of the Local Road Management Team (LRMT) of Bulacan, validated the FY 2019 Annual Reform Action Plan (ARAP) as stipulated on the Provincial Governance Reform Roadmap (PGRR) in the Provincial Government of Bulacan, as part of the governance reform sector of the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Program on August 19, 2019.

CITY OF MALOLOS, BULACAN- The Provincial Government of Bulacan, spearheaded by Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado, celebrated the 441st Founding Anniversary of the Province last August 15, 2019, held in front of the Provincial Capitol Building, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

MALOLOS CITY, BULACAN –Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) –Bulacan Chapter elected a new set of officers on August 8 2019 at HAP CHAN restaurant, Malolos City, Bulacan.

MALOLOS BULACAN – In partnership with the Provincial Government, a conference was held for the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) seeking to representation in the Local Special Bodies (LSBs) on August 6, 2019 at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

During the conference, citizen participation was emphasized as the CSOs were oriented on the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-72 dated May 27, 2019 or the “Guidelines on the accreditation of Civil Society Organizations and selection of representatives to the Local Special Bodies” as well as the importance of Participatory Governance, Codal Avenues of Participation and relevance of Local CSO Network.

The activity provided an avenue for CSOs to fully understand the Memorandum Circular and raise their concerns especially on the process of accreditation.

The issued DILG Memorandum Circular is pursuant to Article 64 of the IRR of Local Government Code of 1991.

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE – In time with the enactment of Republic Act No. 11315, the City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan conducted a five-day training on CBMS Module 1 to capacitate newly-hired workers towards accurate data gathering.
