Driven by the goal of ensuring the quality and safety of the infrastructure projects for the LGUs in the province, the DILG Bulacan Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted an onsite inspection in the Municipality of Balagtas today, March 20, 2024.

The two projects under the said programs, titled “Construction of Balagtas Municipal Park and Recreational Facilities/Plaza” under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) and “Upgrading of Farm to Market Road in Barangay Borol 1st” under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), are part of the government's ongoing efforts to enhance the services and infrastructures to foster community development and improve the overall quality of life of the citizens.

With funding allocations of Php 5,000,000 for Municipal Park and Recreational Facilities and Php 6,606,882.17 for Farm to Market Road in Barangay Borol 1st, these projects at present provide a place for outdoor activities and bridge easier access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and other social amenities in the community.


City of Malolos | DILG Bulacan spearheaded the re-orientation and initial table assessment on Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) CY 2024, today, March 20, 2024. The Committee assessed the documents endorsed by lupon in city/municipal level and selected the top performing barangay per category which will be subjected to onsite assessment in the coming weeks.

Present in the said activity is PAC Chair, DILG Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, together with the members of the Committee: Judge Maria Belinda Rama (Regional Trial Court), Mr. Ceferino De Guzman (LnB representative), Ms. Alyssa Grace Morales and Mr. Jay-r Torres (Provincial Government of Bulacan), and Rev. Maria Elena Caniban (Civil Society Organization).

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) is an annual search being conducted in order to give recognition to the exemplary performance of the Lupons, most especially in their adequate and expeditious demonstration in the promotion and implementation of Katarungang Pambarangay in their respective localities, established through Executive Order No. 394, s. of 1997.

 

Pagpapatuloy sa pagsasagawa ng Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Basic Orientation Course sa mga opisyales mula sa mga barangay ng Bayan ng Angat, Bocaue, Bulakan, Pandi, Pulilan, San Rafael, mga Lungsod ng Baliwag at Malolos. Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa ikatlong linggo na ang nasabing aktibidad simula nang ika-11 hanggang ika-15 ng Marso, 2024.


MARSO 16, 2024 | Katuwang ang iba’t-ibang mga ahensya at lokal na pamahalaan, pinangunahan ngayong araw ng DILG Bulacan at Pamahalang Bayan ng Marilao ang pagsasagawa sa Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program, kung saan itinampok ang Brgy. Sta. Rosa I sa pangunguna ni PB Kenneth Delos Reyes, bilang isa sa mga showcase barangay sa buong Rehiyon Tres.

Sa ginanap na clean-up drive sa Mary Grace Subdivision ay ipinahayag ng Bayan ng Marilao sa pangunguna ni Punong Bayan Henry Lutao ang patuloy na suporta ng bayan sa KALINISAN Program ng Departamento, kung saan ay ibinida ang kanilang proyektong Palit Basura Project.
Sa kabilang banda ay pinangunahan ni Panlalawigang Patnugot Myrvi Apostol-Fabia ang Pledge of Commitment kung saan ay sabay-sabay na nanumpa ang bawat kawani, opisyal at mga mamamayan ng barangay sa kanilang aktibong partisipasyon sa pagpapanatili ng malinis na kapaligiran tungo sa isang Bagong Pilipinas.

Kabilang sa mga limang daang (500) katao na nakiisa at nakilahok sa aktibidad na ito ay sina LnB President Guillermo Paraoan, Jr., mga Punong Barangay ng Marilao, HOA ng Mary Grace Subd., mga kawani ng DILG Bulacan, PNP, BFP, BJMP, AFP, NGOs, at iba pang mga tanggapan.
Ang Kalinisan Program ay isang inisyatibo na naglalayong hikayatin hindi lamang ang pamahalaan, kung hindi ay lahat ng mamamayang Pilipino na isulong ang ligtas at malinis na kapaligiran para sa mga darating pang henerasyon.

 

The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) of Local Council for The Protection of Children (LCPC) and Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC), chaired by DILG Bulacan convened the LCPC and LCAT-VAWC Functionality Assessment for CY 2024.

Held on March 1 to 8, 2024, the PIMTF conducted the onsite assessment in all twenty-four (24) cities and municipalities in the Province of Bulacan. Through this process, the LGUs were thoroughly assessed to gauge the level of their functionality in safeguarding the rights of women, children, and trafficked persons through the implementation of their projects, programs, and activities intended for the welfare and protection of women and children.

Currently, the Provincial IMTF is set to schedule the final table validation in order to discuss and evaluate the final rating of the LGUs for the said audit, thus determining their functionality level in their respective localities.
