The Gawad KALASAG, the Philippines' most prestigious award for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) initiatives, celebrates extraordinary courage, innovation, and unwavering service. This year, the Province of Bataan, along with the Municipalities of Abucay, Dinalupihan, and Orion, proudly received the Beyond Compliant Award for their outstanding commitment to safeguarding their communities.
Furthermore, the City of Balanga and the Municipalities of Bagac, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Orani, Pilar, and Samal were recognized as Fully Compliant Awardees, showcasing their excellence in disaster preparedness and resilience.
