In a bid to verify the progress and quality of ongoing development projects, the DILG Bataan Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Unit, conducted an onsite inspection in the Municipality of Samal on Nov. 13, 2024.
The projects inspected were funded by the FY 2023 Local Government Support Fund – Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP). The inspection focused on nine key projects across several barangays, addressing essential infrastructure needs such as road connectivity, water systems, and renewable energy solutions.
The projects include:
- Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay Gugo
- Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay Ibaba
- Rehabilitation of Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay Ibaba
- Rehabilitation/Improvement of Level III Water System in Barangay Ibaba
- Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay San Juan
- Rehabilitation of Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay San Juan
- Rehabilitation/Improvement of Level III Water Supply System in Barangay San Juan
- Provision of Renewable Energy-Based Electrification in Barangay West Daan Bago
- Rehabilitation/Improvement of Level III Water System in Barangay West Daan Bago
The LFP team, together with Municipal Engineer Manuel Pascual, prioritized checking that each project adhered to the mandated construction quality and safety standards, particularly for the road and water systems that are expected to enhance residents’ access to essential services and support local agricultural activities.
