We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of the Provincial Government of Bataan and the City of Balanga, both honored in the prestigious 2024 Galing Pook Awards for their pioneering programs that uplift local communities.
The Provincial Government was recognized for the Brething Life Into the Ayta Magbukun: A Collaborative Initiative for Language Restoration in Bataan, an important effort to preserve the culture and language of the Ayta Magbukun community, while the City of Balanga won for its Balanga Community-Based Eco-Tourism Zone program, which supports local tourism and community involvement.
These awards exhibits the local government’s commitment to serving the people of Bataan.
