Consistent with the mandate to monitor and evaluate various infrastructures under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), the DILG Bataan Locally Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted an onsite inspection for the three FY 2023 electrification projects in the Municipality of Morong on March 11, 2024.
The three projects under said funding source are entitled, "Provision of Renewable Energy-based Electrification (Solar Streetlight) at Brgy Poblacion, Morong Bataan", "Provision of Renewable Energy-based Electrification (Solar Streetlight) at Brgy Nagbalayong, Morong Bataan", and "Provision of Renewable Energy-based Electrification (Solar Streetlight) at Brgy Mabayo, Morong Bataan".
These three projects, each with funding allocation of Php 6,606,882.17 and includes 107 solar-powered streetlights, aim to provide solar road-side lights to vulnerable areas to maintain peace, security and safety for its respective residents.
After the inspection, following the creation of an Aide Memoire through the use of the Quality Assurance and Assessment Report (QAAR) Tool, the LFP Team held an exit conference together with, LGOO VI Laverne Gonzales, Jr., ME Joel Zulueta, and MPDC Jun Paguio to tackle said problems and appropriate actions to be taken with target timelines for monitoring later.
