The collective efforts of all members of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) in ensuring and maintaining peace and order and public safety have been once again enunciated through the Ceremonial Signing and Confirmation of Resolution Declaring that the Province of Aurora is in a “State of Stable Internal Peace and Security” on March 13, 2024 in Sangguniang Panlalawigan Hall, Capitol Compound, Baler, Aurora.
Acting Governor Reynante A. Tolentino, PPOC Chairperson, in his message underscored the significance of this undertaking. “Napakahalaga ng gawaing ito dahil ito ay isang patunay at patotoo ng patuloy nating pagsisikap na pangalagaan ang kapayapaan at katahimikan sa ating lalawigan. Upang mapanatili ito, hinihingi ko ang suporta ng bawat isa nang sa gayon ay tuluyan na nating ma-iwaksi ang ideolohiyang makakaliwa.”
The activity, which is intended to steer peoples' desire to pursue a sustainable peace and development, depicted the successful dismantling of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) that are operating within Aurora-Nueva Ecija and clearing of our barangays from their influence. The activity was graced by LGOO VII Lerrie S. Hernandez, MED Chief, who joined the affirmation of the foregoing feat on behalf of Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III, Regional Director of DILG Region 3.
Likewise, present in the activity were the representatives of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Army, Philippine National Police Regional Office-3, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency-3, and members of the PPOC and PTF-ELCAC.
