In collaborative efforts of the national and local governments in attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the comprehensive plan of the national government to end poverty by 2040, the DILG Aurora represented by LGOO VI Florenz Zaira B. Buenconsejo provided technical assistance during the Orientation on Magna Carta of the Poor (MCP) and Local Poverty Reduction Action Plan (LPRAP) Formulation today, January 30, 2024 at Pacific Waves, Brgy. Sabang, Baler, Aurora.
The activity successfully served as a venue to present and discuss the salient features of Magna Carta of the Poor and its IRR, regional poverty situation, LPRAP formulation process and ways forward for MCP-LPRAP related activities.
It was facilitated by the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) together with the PG Aurora through the PSWDO and attended by the members of the Provincial Poverty Reduction Action Committee (PPRAC) and Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators in the Province of Aurora.
