The DILG Aurora LFP Team capacitated members of the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC) by delivering the Training-Workshop on the Use of the Rapid Subproject Sustainability Assessment (RSSA) and Refresher on the Project Monitoring Guidelines, organized by the Provincial Planning and Development Office of Aurora.
Members of the PPMC were trained on the documentation of common findings, observations, and recommendations for strengthened problem-solving skills. They were reintroduced to monitoring and evaluation tools through the RLIP, RPMES, and RSSA system to assess the sustainability of projects which shall be localized for government facilities all throughout the Province of Aurora.
In addition to the lectures, a workshop was conducted in order to practice qualitative field research methodologies and gather holistic data on project impact. Ethical considerations and behaviors during on-site monitoring and evaluation were also discussed for more thorough and inclusive project monitoring.
Moving forward, these strengthened skills and tools shall further the Department’s collective goals for good infrastructure governance in the Province of Aurora.
