On November 24, 2023, DILG Aurora joined in the inauguration ceremony of three Patient Transport Vehicles for key barangays in the Municipality of Maria Aurora. Assistant Regional Director for DILG Central Luzon, Jay E. Timbreza was part of the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony, while Cluster Team Leader Ariel G. Espinosa spoke on behalf of Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero congratulating Maria Aurora and the significance of the Seal of Good Local Governance.
The event was also attended by Engr. Mark Kennedy C. Tungol and Jade Baldovino. From the DILG Provincial Office LFP Team, Engr. Kenny Jean O. Nakar and Denn Jennings Angel M. Oviatt were among the participants who celebrated the inauguration and official turnover of documents.
Local Government officials and functionaries alike were in attendance to listen to the key stakeholders' messages. Mayor Ariel S. Bitong spoke about how the Patient Transport Vehicles would be a great help in ensuring that in times of emergency, there would be available transportation for those in need, especially communities who are in high risk and hard-to-reach areas. This would help in ensuring that residents and visitors can have a comfortable ride to obtain essential health services as soon as possible.
