Newly hired COS and administrative personnel gathered for a two-day training designed to strengthen their knowledge of government systems and core Department policies, gearing them up for meaningful public service.
In her opening message, Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose, CESO III, conveyed her sincere appreciation to the team—from the Regional Office down to the Provincial and HUC Offices—for their steadfast commitment to harmonizing financial and administrative processes across the region. She underscored that the activity serves as a valuable opportunity to reflect on who they are, what they stand for, and who they are becoming as public servants.
She further reminded everyone that excellence in public service means not only working hard, but also working smart and consistently going the extra mile in delivering results. Emphasizing the significance of their role, she stated, “Ang pagiging bahagi ng DILG ay hindi lamang pribilehiyo. Ito ay isang hamon—a challenge to demonstrate that you are worthy of the trust and confidence placed in you.”
