The DILG in coordination with City Gender and Development Office and City Public Employment Service Office conducted Orientation on Republic Act 10163 known as the Domestic Welfare Act or Kasambahay Law to the Barangay officials of this city, whose role is crucial to the success of implementing this law last August 29, 2013.
The local government here recently launched a more comprehensive and action-centered approach to environmentally sustain one of the major waterways of this city. During the launching, OIC City Director Remedios M. Rodriguez discussed to the group the Supreme Court Decision cum Resolution, Key Performance Indicators and SC Continuing Mandamus regarding the Manila Bay Clean Up and Rehabilitation Project.
Angeles City held its Local Governance Performance Management System Utilization Conference on e-SLGR (State of Local Governance Performance Electronic Report) on July 4, 2013 at Shanghai Palace Restaurant, Angeles City. This was in compliance to DILG Memorandum Circular 2007-24 mandating the submission of SLGR as the Annual Report of LGUs and Regional Memorandum Circular No. 2013-10 dated May 15, 2013 signed by DILG Regional Director Florida M. Dijan, mandating LGUs to conduct Utilization Conference.
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office awarded Mayor Edgardo D. Pamintuan last Monday flag ceremony,(July 22) for his prompt submission and presentation of a social contract to his constituents.
This city joined in the celebration of the 115thProclamation of Philippine Independence in a ceremonial flag raising rite held at the Pamintuan Mansion last June 12, 2013.
Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan, led the said ceremony along with other city government officials including DILG City Director Remedios M. Rodriguez and National Historical Commission of the Philippines Commissioner Dr. Ferdinand C. Llanes.
