The Municipality of Santa Ana, in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pampanga and the Provincial Government–Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO), conducted a site visit and inspection at the LGU’s Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).

The activity highlighted the municipality’s commitment to proper solid waste management and environmental sustainability. Through the use of existing equipment at the facility, collected and recycled wastes are processed into useful products such as bricks, fertilizers, and other organic materials—supporting waste reduction while generating practical outputs for the community.

In support of these efforts, the PG-ENRO donated two units of cargo tricycles to the municipality to further aid in the efficient collection and segregation of wastes, strengthening on-ground waste management operations.

This initiative reflects the LGU’s continuous efforts to promote responsible waste management practices and strengthen local environmental programs for a cleaner and more sustainable Santa Ana.
