The DILG Pampanga Provincial Office took another meaningful step toward strengthening gender-responsive governance as it successfully underwent the Gender and Development (GAD) Seal On-Site Validation on October 23, 2025.
The activity forms part of the Department's continuing efforts to recognize and promote offices that champion gender equality, inclusivity, and women empowerment in the delivery of public service.

Leading the on-site validation was the Regional Assessment Team (RAT) composed of Information Technology Officer I Melerie G. Pineda, Local Government Operations Officer IV Julius S. Leyva, and Administrative Officer IV Genevieve M. Delgado, who reviewed the office's systems, policies, and initiatives in line with the standards of the GAD Seal Certification Program.
Throughout the validation, the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) showcased its innovations and best practices in integrating gender perspectives into governance processes and internal management. The activity also highlighted the office's commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and empowering work environment for all employees and stakeholders.
By participating in the GAD Seal Assessment, the office reinforces its dedication to advancing gender equality in local governance, ensuring that every Kapampangan benefits from a government that values fairness, inclusivity, and shared progress.
