On November 13, 2025, fourteen (14) Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Councils and eight (???? Local Youth Development Offices in Pampanga were recognized during the conduct of Provincial Youth Congress 2025 at Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center, Pampanga State University, Bacolor, Pampanga.
The said awardees successfully passed the 2025 SK Assessment entitled "???????????????????? ????????????????????: ????outh Advocates for ????????tstanding Governance ????owards a ????olistic Nation- ????????ampioning ????xcellence, ????ommitment and ????nowledge", an initiative of the DILG Pampanga in collaboration with Provincial Government of Pampanga through the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), Pampanga SK Federation and National Youth Commission (NYC) Pampanga to monitor and evaluate the performance of youth leaders in effectively planning and implementing their PPAs.
The 14 SK Councils have demonstrated their commendable capabilities on the Core Performance Areas under YOUTH CHECK namely Financial Administration and Accountability, Youth Development Planning and Sustainability, Governance and Administration and Health and Education and Essential Performance Areas, the Environmental Management, Disaster Preparedness and Peace and Order, in particular.
Meanwhile, in light of the institutional effectiveness and operational efficiency exemplified by the LYDOs across Pampanga, four (4) LYDOs were acknowledged as the top performers specifically City of San Fernando as 3rd runner up, Municipality of Sasmuan and Municipality of San Luis tied as 2nd runner up and Municipality of Porac as 1st runner up. Aside from the top performers, eight (8 ) LYDOs were also recognized for their notable innovations on youth governance, healthy lifestyle, fiscal policy, digital transformation, revenue generation, environmental sustainability and solid waste management.
The remarkable achievement of the outstanding YOUTH CHECK passers serves as an inspiration to Kapampangan youth in embodying the spirit of public service, integrity and innovation - a leadership that is anchored in good governance and nation-building. Similarly, the DILG Pampanga remains steadfast in assisting the new generation of leaders in paving the way to a brighter and better tomorrow.
