On its 3rd year, the DILG Pampanga, through the Ing Kulitan’s Alaya initiative, successfully conducted the 2025 Gawad Sulayman on November 18, 2025 at the Greene Manor, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. With the theme, “Ambag Para sa Kaunlaran ng Pamayanan”, the ceremony acknowledged the outstanding contributions of DILG Field Officers, Local Government Units and local functionaries in the successful implementation of Locally Funded Projects in the Province.

During her address, Provincial Director Myra B. Moral-Soriano, CESO V, underscored the paramount importance of local officials in advancing community development. She asserted that their implemented initiatives serve as a tangible testament to a profound commitment to public service, contributing substantially to local progress. She also concluded by emphasizing that this recognition specifically honors both the successfully executed projects and the dedicated leadership and functionaries whose meticulous efforts rendered these achievements possible.

The Gawad Sulayman featured five distinguished awards: Bankau, for being the first to complete and report its SGLG-IF project; Bambalito, recognizing the best focal person for locally funded projects; Bankusay, awarded to the project with the highest impact and best “Kwento”; Karakoa, for municipalities excelling in the SubayBAYAN System; and Legazpi, honoring the best DILG officer for locally funded projects. These awards reflect the unwavering dedication of LGUs in delivering top-quality infrastructure projects and their commitment to continuous development across local communities.

The DILG Pampanga's Gawad Sulayman stands as a powerful testament to excellent governance, showcasing how effective planning and prudent resource management are the bedrock of community progress.
