Earlier today—The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director, joined the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Data Turnover Ceremony (Batch 2), underscoring the importance of data-driven governance and evidence-based local planning.

DILG Nueva Ecija extended its appreciation to the PSA for its crucial role in generating comprehensive and updated household-level data that serve as vital tools for policy formulation, program design, and resource allocation. The event was attended by local chief executives, local planning and development coordinators, local statisticians, and CBMS focal persons. The turnover of CBMS data marks a significant step toward strengthening local governance by empowering local government units (LGUs) to craft more responsive and inclusive development initiatives anchored on accurate and timely information. DILG Nueva Ecija reaffirmed its commitment to support the utilization and protection of CBMS data in line with data privacy and security standards, ensuring that these valuable datasets are maximized for sustainable local development and good governance. #Uhay???? #TresTheBest
